Summary
One of specific features of modernity is a new character of relations of the social and anthropological levels of reality, the closest intertwining and cohesion of these levels. The book states the problem of the creation of a discourse adequate to this new configuration of reality. The subject field is here the «interface of the Social and the Anthropological» and the study or «colonization» of this interface starts with the elaboration of a special conceptual and methodological framework based on synergic anthropology. A new class of concepts is introduced, the categories of the interface, which are endowed with both anthropological and social contents. Examples of such categories are anthropological situation, anthropological trend, spiritual tradition, etc. Anthropological trends serve as the main tool for the colonization of the interface. Two principal methods how to use this tool are developed, the diagnostics (the identification of anthropological formation(s), which generate the trend in question) and the management (the stimulation of a trend, the blocking of it, etc.).
The framework is then applied to the analysis of the most topical modern problems such as global risks, ecological crisis, the growth of the virtualization of reality, the problem of the Post–human etc. Special attention is paid to the «Exit trend», which is how wc call the overall anthropological trend collecting all manifestations and tendencies of the specific tiredness of the Human and his/her drive to a self–withdrawal. We appraise this trend as the top global risk of the present anthroposocial situation. Using our methods of the management of trends, it is possible to formulate strategies for changing and correcting anthroposocial situation. We find that two phenomena play important roles in these strategies, the transition of modernity into the postsecular paradigm, and the return of the Ontological ilittnan, the anthropological formation constituted in religious experience and forced out by the processes of secularization. Today the destiny of these phenomena is open, and the discussion of them raises a set of questions for further study.
In the conceptual context of modern social philosophy the approach uniting social and anthropological discourses opens up a new direction. Reflecting the new configuration of the Social and the Anthropological, it presents structures and mechanisms of anthroposocial reality in a new light, and provides new principles for determining our attitudes and strategies towards leading trends of modernity.
