The Priest as a penitent Sinner in the Thought of St. Augustine R. Dodaro
The article examines the views of St. Augustine on the problem of sanctity and priesthood in the context of the polimics with the Donatistm. Particular attention is paid to his concept of the priest as a sinner, which allows tracing the connection and relevance between the Church, the priesthood and holiness in our day.
